Strip steel
Stainless steel flat bar (stainless steel strip, flat bar) is made of basic austenitic stainless steel (so-called food-grade stainless steel) containing 18% chromium (Cr) and 10% nickel (Ni). The chemical composition complies with the standard for the use of products for food and drinking water. The maximum temperature is 450 °C. This alloyed stainless steel is highly resistant to corrosion in water and air environments without concentrations of chlorides or inorganic acids and salts. Resistance to surface corrosion can be increased by polishing. Strip steel 1.4301 is machinable and very weldable.

We offer stainless steel strip in various lengths and dimensions. It is part of our range of stainless steel materials, which also includes square steel, stainless steel sheets, stainless steel pipes, screws, and fittings. This type of material is currently widely used for many different purposes. It is used in the food and pharmaceutical industries, in interiors and exteriors, and in construction. One of the main properties of stainless steel strip is that it resists corrosion in water and steam environments, as well as in moderately aggressive environments.
It is most commonly used wherever we need to prevent product corrosion. Primarily in the chemical, mining, food, and pharmaceutical industries. In these fields, it is corrosion-resistant, non-magnetic, non-hardenable, and polishable. It is sold in various technical specifications and grades. The most common material is steel 17240, 1.4301, and it is also supplied in AISI 304 quality. It is manufactured as drawn, rolled, or cut, annealed or pickled depending on the surface. The bars are manufactured in thicknesses from 2 to 70 mm and widths from 10 to 200 mm. The standard length of stainless steel strip steel bars is 3-4 m.
